17-1 Saturday against the Yanks.
After dropping the 1st game, the Bosox bounced back huge with a monster attack.
Sunday Wells pitched....ahh, rather well (no pun). After letting up two jacks in the 1st inning Boomer settled down and pitched an almost complete game. Sox won 7-2.

Series notes:
Renteria started hitting, he batted .813 in the series against NY. He's picked up his avg. like 50 or so points in the last few weeks.
So it looks like the switch of uniform #'s for Boomer and Renteria worked some magic.
Manny had 7 consecutive hits, raising his avg.


Arroyo was knocked around tonite by the O's. Sox lost 8-1.

Reports are that Schilling is healing nicely. We really need him back in the rotation.

27-23 record, tied with NY and Toronto for second, all 4 games behind the O's.

Time to start picking up the pace. Pitching needs to be more consistent and the bats need to heat up.

Sox will go on a streak right before the All-Star game, and a big one after the break!!
